Pat and Mick Rowett of Horncastle opened their garden in Low Toynton Road for two days earlier this month, welcoming 150 visitors.

Pat had been busy in the run up to the event baking cakes for the refreshments on the day, collecting items for the gardener’s tombola and growing plants for sale.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended our open garden over the weekend,” said Pat.

“Special thanks go to all friends who gave up there weekend to help with the event.

“Without their help, it wouldn’t have been the success it was, raising £1,215 for LIVES.”
