New York Pendragon competition winners

new York Pupils on the Write track

Pendragon Committee members visited New York School on Friday to present certificates to the first round winners in the annual Pen Dragon inter-schools handwriting competition.

Four St Hughs pupils entered the first Oundle Prep School Science competition held at Oundle school on May 7th 2013.

 

Imogen Elmer, Alfie Graves, William Wright and Charlotte Would travelled to Oundle along with six other schools from Suffolk, Norfolk, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.

 

Each school team was assessed for teamwork, enthusiasm and accuracy of their work in Physics, Chemistry and Biology included making a cloud chamber, microscope study of living locusts and dissections. St Hughs school were declared winners and were presented the trophy by the headmaster of Oundle School.
