TEN YEARS AGO: Mrs Jolly tattoo funds presented to good causes
This was the scene at the Lilywhites, in Skegness, 10 years ago, following a fundraiser with a difference.
Dave Daubney, of Daubo’s Taxis, had pledged to have a tattoo of Mrs Jolly, the town’s mascot’s wife, inked on his arm.
It would join one of the Jolly Fisherman he already had on one arm.
The bet raised £1,080, which was split between Alive and Kicking Lincolnshire and Skegness Hospital.
Representatives of both causes attended the presentation event, pictured above.
