Churches open for 20th festival event

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life and step into the past with the annual West Lindsey Churches Festival.

This year, 94 of the area’s magnificent buildings will open their doors over two weekends in what is the 20th anniversary year for the event.

The free-entry event 
invites visitors to enjoy the rich heritage each church 
offers, alongside a host of 
activities, with 24 churches offering lunches and 19 offering music recitals.

This weekend May 7 and 8, sees 48 churches the East of the district open, including Gautby, Minting, Southrey and Wragby.
