The Horncastle Walkers are Welcome Group are welcoming all-comers on an early morning stroll to listen to the dawn chorus at the Snipe Dales Country Park on Sunday, April 26.
The walk will be by the experienced Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Ranger James Forester who will identify the host of birds singing their hearts out. There could even be a nightingale.
The walk sets off from Snipe Dales at the ungodly hour at 5.30am on Sunday. Anyone without transport is invited to be in the Market Place by 5.15am (latest) for a lift. For more details please ring 01507 522957 or visit the town council offices in the Horncastle library.
