Monthly concerts at ‘Music for Woodhall’ continue featuring a wide range of styles from light classics through to big band and a bit of jazz.

The concerts are given by some of the country’s top musicians and this month’s concert features David Harrild.

David was born in South East London and developed a passion for music at an early age.

He never carries music with him - he performs with his ability to play by ear.

This ability enables him to choose his material, listen to it once or twice and then play it.

The concert takes place on Tuesday, September 15, at 7.30pm in St Peter’s Hall, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa.

Admission for visitors is £7 and further details are available from Philip Groves on 01526 353225 or at www.woodhallspa-organ.co.uk .

Last month the audience was enthralled by the music of David Thomas.

An accomplished player, he enhances his performance from time to time with video clips and graphics.

And at Woodhall, he gave an unforgettable finale, singing the duet “Well did you evah” from “High Society” along with an on screen Bing Crosby.
