One of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most well-known Sherlock Holmes tales is being brought to life by the Horncastle Theatre Company.
The Hound of the Baskervilles sees the great detective set out to investigate the death of Sir Charles Baskerville, who believed in the family’s curse and was apparently fleeing in fright when he died.
Footprints of a gigantic hound were found nearby - could it be something to do with the legendary curse ?
Holmes knows there must be a more rational explanation, but the difficulty is to find it before the hellhound finds him.
This production has its first night on March 29 and runs for four nights.
Tickets are available at the Music Shop, Bull Ring, Horncastle or call 01507 526566.
There is also a competition for free tickets on the Lion Theatre Facebook page.
