A highly original version of ‘The 39 Steps’ - based on both John Buchan’s novel and Alfred Hitchcock’s film version takes to the stage at Horncastle’s Lion Theatre.

Adapted by Patrick Barlow from an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon, this stage version is a fast paced romp through the Hitchcock film.

It contains the iconic set pieces familiar to anyone who has seen it – Mr Memory, the train top chase and the escape from the Forth Bridge.

There will be adventure, a love story and plenty of fast moving comedy all brought to life by a cast of four!

Gareth Bates plays Richard Hannay; Rachel Yates the three female roles, with Chris Liversidge and Jon Cooke cast as Clown 1 and Clown 2 playing a multitude of parts.

The show runs from March 21 to 24, with tickets from The Music Shop, 01507 526566.
