The Kinema In The Woods will be offering an “Autism Friendly Screening” of the latest DreamWorks Animation ‘Mr Peabody & Sherman’ on Saturday (10am).

During the showing, lights will be dimmed, the volume will be reduced and customers will be free to move around the auditorium - if necessary.

There will be no trailers so the film will start promptly and carers are admitted free of charge.

On Sunday, the Kinema will be putting on a special Mother’s Day screening of the award winning film ‘Philomena’ which stars Dame Judi Dench and Steve Coogan.

All tickets will be just £5 and include a complimentary hot drink and biscuits.

To celebrate Easter there will be two themed showings. The first will be a family friendly screening of ‘Hop’ (U certificate) on Saturday April 19 at 10.00am.

During the show, there will be a special appearance from Easter Bunny who will be giving out chocolate eggs and be available for photos.

There will also be a prize on offer for the best Easter costume.
