Paul started playing at the age of 12 and by 14 he took first prize in a Midlands Arts Festival, beating many semi-professional players.

By the age of 22, he fulfilled his ambition of working as a demonstrator for Yamaha and now works for Orla Organs.

He is probably best known around the country and abroad as a prolific concert artiste.

His varied repertoire and easy-listening style is a firm favourite with music lovers and his programme typically covers all genres.

Music aside, Paul must surely take credit for being one of the most humorous entertainers on the circuit.

His softly spoken and unrivalled wit is often punctuated by his inimitable touches of ‘self criticism’ over the microphone - which, although always said with tongue in cheek, never fail to evoke a sea of laughter.

The final string to his bow must surely be his talented singing voice.

The concert takes place on Tuesday, November 20, in St Peter’s Hall, starting at 7.30pm.

Admission is £7.
