Enjoy a touch of Winter Sunshine as 78rpm Jazz Band return to the stage at Louth’s Riverhead Theatre next month.

By popular the audience will see the return of Louise Cookman, the Whitstable Nightingale, and also making a welcome return is fine young double bass player Tom Wheatley.

But new to Louth this year will be some instrumental sweetmeats to tempt your palates – Piers Clark, from deepest Sussex, is the doyen of rhythm guitarists, while Peter Horsfall is an exceptional young trumpet wielder.

On saxophones and clarinet is Mark Allaway, a regular with the Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.

78rpm Jazz Band’s production of Winter Sunshine is on Sunday, February 2 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £13, or £11.50 with a Theatrecard, and can be booked on 01507 600350 between 10am and 1pm from Monday to Saturday.
