Highly successful author Margaret Dickinson will visit Horncastle tomorrow (Thursday).
She will be attending Age UK Lindsey’s coffee morning at the town’s community centre from 10am to 12noon.
Members of the public are invited to go along for a coffee and an informal chat with Margaret.
Born in Gainsborough, Margaret moved to the Lincolnshire coast at the age of seven.
That fired her love for the sea - and the famous Lincolnshire landscapes that appear in many of her novels.
Margaret sets her sights on becoming an author when she was very young.
She had her first novel published at the age of 25 and this was followed by another 29 further titles, many of them set in her home county of Lincolnshire.
Some of her best known work is the Fleethaven trilogy - a story about a Lincolnshire family spanning two World Wars and three generations.
He latest novel is called Fairfield Hall and was inspired by the National Trust owned Gunby Hall near Spilsby.
