Rosamunde Pilcher’s award winning novel ‘The Shell Seekers’ is being brought to life by the Louth Playgoers next week.

The novel has been movingly and dramatically adapted for stage by the established husband and wife team Terence Brady and Charlotte Bingham. Charlotte

It is a most moving, warm, humorous family drama of Penelope Keeling and her family and the passion and heartbreak that have held them together for three generations.

Set in Cornwall and the Cotswolds from World War 2 to present day, it is a story of love, courage and determination.

And it is also the story of ‘The Shell Seekers’ itself, a painting which threatens to tear the Keeling family apart.

The play runs from Monday, March 17, to Saturday, March 22, at the Riverhead Theatre in Louth’s Victoria Road, with performances at 7.30pm each evening.

For tickets, call the box office on 01507 600350 or book on line at, where there is also more information about forthcoming plays and events.
