Flamboyant horseback acrobatics will be the main ring highlight at this year’s Woodhall Spa Country Show held on Sunday May 18.
The Galloping Acrobats, featuring Rosie Howard and her four-legged friends, promise that their vaulting-based horse displays will ‘inspire, delight, enchant and excite’ the visitors to the well-established event.
Other attractions in the main ring will include parades by the Boston Vintage Cycle Club, classic cars, tractors and motor bikes and the Lincolnshire Brance of the British Driving Society with their ponies and carriages.
The farming theme of this year’s show will be seed oils, looking at the production and uses of Oilseed rape, Linseed, and others grown in the area.
Vintage and modern machinery will be on display, provided by farmers and enthusiasts with support of local branches of the NFU.
The cattle, sheep and poultry classes will give visitors the chance to admire some of the livestock bred in Lincolnshire.
As well as the special displays, the usual selection of traditional attractions will be on show.
Organisers are well into the planning stages for this year and entries are invited for classes from livestock to tractors and vehicles , and trade and craft stands.
The new field on Green Lane also has adjacent free parking.
