A look at changing face of Woodhall Spa

A new temporary exhibition called Past and Present – Houses and Homes has launched the new season at Woodhall Spa’s Cottage Museum.

The display draws on a selection of wonderfully evocative images of Victorian and Edwardian houses and homes in the village, and compares them with how the same buildings look today.

The Cottage Museum has an extensive collection of photographs, many of which were taken by John Wield who lived in the bungalow for many years.

The images are a valuable record and provide a wealth of information about the people who lived and worked in the locality. The images include scenes of buildings, people and everyday activities that took place in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

The exhibition runs until June 7 and is open every day from 10.30am-4pm. Normal admission charges apply.
