David Hodgson won the Haven Clay Pigeon Club open clay shoot.
The competition was 40 targets, and Bostonian David Hodgson was first, scoring 38 out of 40.
This earned him the £100 High Gun prize.
Second went to P. Kime, scoring 37/40, while third place was a tie between Roy Westmorland and Julian Brown.
The event was in Aid of Global Action, which will see students from Horncastle’s Queen Elizabeth Grammar School’s Nepal Expedition heading off to the Asian country.
There, they will assist with projects to help the Nepalese with regards to damage sustained in recent earthquakes.
A total of £500 was raised for the charity through entry and a raffle.
