Bardney rider Ivan Lintin saved his best performance until last when he took the win in the Lightweight TT on Friday - in his last race of the 2015 Isle of Man TT festival.
The 20-year-old made his debut at the TT in 2011 but, although he has had some respectable results over the past few years, this was his very first win.
He did it in style by setting a new race record over 36 seconds inside the old one with a time of 57m 06. 070s - 118.936mph.
Riding the RC Express Racing Kawasaki, Ivan was in second place at Glen Helen on the first lap but by the time he reached Ramsey he was in the lead.
He never looked back over the final two laps and crossed the finish line nearly four seconds ahead of James Hillier on corrected time to secure the best result of his TT career.
He was delighted with his result and said: “The race went well really.
“I was getting good boards all round the course so I knew I was there or thereabouts then I got a P1+5 so thought I was dragging away with this.
“Danny Horn said to me before we went out to make the dream happen so I thought I would knuckle down with about 30 miles to go and... I have made the dream.
“It’s impressive to knock a further 36 seconds off the lap record on a shopping bike as you can buy the Kawasaki for five grand, but of course we turn them into racing monsters and go and do what we do on them.
“Today has been a magical day for me to hold that trophy it’s all be so fantastic.”
