Jubilee Park end season as champs
Jubilee Park Bowls Club concluded their season with a busy August - and a promotion.
The Coningsby League Friday A team beat Billinghay by 66 shots to 47 shots and took all eight points in their final match of the season.
That was enough for Kath Manley’s side to claim the Division Two title and gain promotion as champions to Division One.

Hide AdIn the Boston Two Wood Division Two, John Wyatt’s team lost 12-0 (83-56) at Boston West End.
But against Donington at home they won 8-4 (81-72).
In the Boston Three Wood Division Two, Keith Revill’s side won 10-2 at Swineshead, before beating Freiston by the same score at home.
The Coningsby League Division Four Friday B team, captained by Ian Aitkin, lost 6-2 at Bicker and 6-2 at home to Heckington and BBC, but won 8-0 at Sibsey and drew 4-4 at home with WTB.
