Horncastle Banovallum Gymnastics Club entered 17 gymnasts in the Witham Hill Gymnastics Club annual invitational competition.
There were more than 300 gymnasts competing from 14 different clubs, taking part over two days. They competed on five different pieces of apparatus: high bar, parallel bars, floor, vault and trampette.
On the Saturday, Banovallum started with their two youngest boys, Lenny Poppy and Jonathan Rickard, in the under-sevens, competing on all five pieces. Lenny came home with silver medal on parallel bars and bronze on trampette. Jonathan was second on trampette and third on high bar.

Banovallum Gymnastics Club head coach Debby Butler congratulated all the gymnasts who took part. She said: “They all did really well and work so hard in preparation for the competition.
“Some of the gymnasts were competing for the first time on full apparatus at competition level; they couldn’t have done without the help and support on the coaches Linzi, Alex, Gareth and Hannah.”
