Woodhall Spa’s teenage golf star India Clyburn is on course for yet another title.

The 17-year-old is leading the way after the opening two rounds of the Daily Telegraph Junior Championships at Qinto do Lago in Portugal.

Clyburn is six shots clear of the field going into the final 18 holes tomorrow (Saturday).

She blew many of her rivals away after posting a three under par 69 on the first day.

All the players struggled in cold, wet and windy conditions in the second round with Clyburn carding a 78 which was still one of the best scores of the day.

Her 147 total leaves her ahead of nearest challenger Lily Downs (153).

Clyburn, capped by England, has enjoyed an outstanding 2014, securing a number of regional and national titles.
