Top Woodhall Spa golfer India Clyburn has been selected to represent England Golf at two forthcoming Nations Cup championships events.

India will challenge in the St Rule Trophy at St Andrews this weekend, along with England team-mates Gemma Clews of Cheshire, and Lancastrian Hollie Muse.

Next month, India will team up with Clews and Meghan MacLaren, of Northamptonshire, to contest the British Women’s Championship at Portstewart Golf Club in Ireland.

India won a host of titles last year, including the English Girls’ Championship and the England Golf girls’ order of merit.

Meanwhile, her sister Holly was disappointed with her performance at the Turkish Airlines Ladies’ Open at the Carya Golf Club in Belek last week.

The European Tour professional only managed a four over par score to come in 39th overall, 15 shots behind winner Melissa Reid.

Holly recorded rounds of 73, 74 and 77 to leave her 46th going into the final day’s play. But she improved in her lasts round, with her 72 scorecard boosting her up the leaderboard by seven places.
