Woodhall Spa professional Holly Clyburn finished in a highly creditable 33rd place in the star-studded Women’s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne Golf Club
Although Clyburn did look to be on course for a higher placing earlier in the competition, she was still one of the top European finishers.
She carded a six-over-par total of 298 in baking-hot conditions.
Clyburn posted rounds of 73,75,75 and 75 over the daunting links-style course.
On the final day (Sunday), she had five bogies and three birdies - the last at the 18th which meant she signed off in style.
The event was won by world number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand who kept Amy Yang at bay.
The 17-year-old, the youngest ever world number one, carded a two-under 71 in the final round for a two-stroke victory over South Korea’s Yang.
Overnight co-leader Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand shot a 76 to finish third.
