Woodhall Spa professional Holly Clyburn has suffered a disappointing start to her latest tournament on the European Ladies Tour.
Clyburn, fresh from a series of sparkling performances in Australia and New Zealand, is today (Friday) playing in the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.
But in yesterday’s opening round at the Golf De L’Ocean Club at Agadir, she fired a three over par 74.
That left her trailing in 72nd place, needing a big improvement in today’s second round to make the 36 hole cut which was estimated at one over.
The tournament leaders were Gwladys Nocera, Celine Herbin and Eleanor Givens who were all on five under par earlier this morning.
