Playing away at second placed St Giles in the city league, Sleaford Town lost their unbeaten record going down by five shots despite winning on two rinks. The aggregate score was 86-91.

Results: Kris Moore, Peter Stokes and Andrew Bird won 28-17; John Parker, Roger Neaverson and Derek Smith won 27-16; Neil Mapletoft, Phil Musson and Trevor Cope lost 17-25; Martin Titley, Richard Barnes and Paul Jobson lost 14-33.

Away at Boultham Park in the district league, the town won on two rinks and gained the aggregate score 97-88 and 10 points.

Results: Robin Wilson, Larry Davies and Roy Markham won 29-17; Joan Gilbert, Mick Jarrald and Mick Wareham won 22-18; Jackie Wareham, Catherine Frain and Bas Gilbert lost 20-23; Peter Annison, Colin Grosse and Brian Srawley lost 36-30.

Playing away at Seaford Bristol in the Woodhall League, the town lost the aggregate by two shots 48-50 but points were shared three apiece.

Results: Arthur Norris, David Curt and Roy Markham won 20-11; Gerald Woodhouse, Joan Gilbert and Colin Grosse drew 17-17; Mick Jarald, Larry Davies and Tom Bell lost 11-22.

Playing away at Boultham Park in the city league, the town got back to form, winning all rinks and maximum points with a score of 120-65.

Results: Martin Titley, Peter Stokes and Richard Barnes won 31-10; Peter Annison Paul Jobson and Trevor Cope won 27-19; Kris Moore, Larry Davies and Andrew Bird won 32-16; John Parker, Roger Neaverson and Derek Smith won 30-20.

Also on the same night, the town played at St Giles in the district league Hospital Cup, but were no match for the strong opponents, losing 48-110.

Results: Joan Gilbert, Gillian Annison and Colin Grosse drew 14-14; Jackie Wareham, David Curt and Bas Gilbert lost 8-32; Gwen Campbell, Callum Campbell and Brian Srawley lost 14-34; Gerald Woodhead, Steve Traynor and Mick Wareham lost 12-30.

At home against Washingborough in the EBA League, the town lost 48-56, winning on one rink to take two points and give the visitors eight.
