Entries have officially opened for this year’s ninth annual Spires and Steeples Challenge which takes place on Sunday, October 16.

The challenge is a charity 26 or 13 mile run or walk from Lincoln or Metheringham to Sleaford, following the Spires and Steeples Arts and Heritage trail that winds through the picturesque villages of North Kesteven.

Last year saw a great increase in participants and the team are very much looking forward to welcoming many more.

Prices are frozen from last year which are £18 per person for the 26 mile run/walk and £15 per person for the 13 mile run/walk. Participants must be 16 years and over to enter any challenge, however anyone aged 14-15 years may take part in the 26 mile walk or 13 mile walk/run if accompanied by an adult.
