Second round

One of the shocks of the competition was Third Division FC Hammers edging out First Division side Woodhall Spa United.

FC Hammers were involved in a seven goal thriller at home when they entertained Woodhall Spa United and they booked their place in the third round with a 4-3 home win thanks to goals from Reece Snade (2), Kristian Taylor and Zak Mitchell.

There was a double figure scoreline as Coningsby struck 11 goals away from home.

Coningsby were probably expecting a tougher task away at Sibsey but they found themselves 5-1 in front at half-time and they didn’t let up after the break, netting another six.
