Horncastle Town will be without striker Danny Bent as they bid to record a much needed win against Skegness Town at The Wong tomorrow (Saturday) 2pm.
Bent will miss the Sills and Betteridge League Premier Division clash because of a one-match ban - imposed after a recent red card.
Town will also be without defender Dave Marshall who is unavailable while key midfielder Ollie Johnson faces a battle to shake off an ankle problem.
Town are desperate for points to move away from the bottom four of the table but they will face a tough examination against Skegness - one of the league’s in-form sides.
On the plus side, Town should have dangermen Michael Harness and Tony Edwards available while there is a chance Matty Low could also play.
Chris Johnson is expected to line up in the centre of defence, despite ongoing problems with a back injury while Will Wood will continue in goal.
Town are hoping for plenty of support in a clash which mark their first home fixture since The Wong’s ‘old’ clubhouse was demolished.
It will be replaced by a new £400,000 facility which should be operational for the start of next season.
*Town’s reserves are also in league action tomorrow (Saturday) when they visit Retford (2pm).
Town should have plenty of confidence after last Saturday’s dramatic penalty shoot-out win against The Blues Cup in the semi finals of the Amateur Cup.
Player boss Jamie Lamming is hoping to have a strong squad on duty although much could depend on first team calls.
