FOOTBALL: Struggling Mareham look for Premier Division boost

Rock-bottom Mareham United will be hoping for a change of luck when they continue their Premier Division campaign in the Boston and District League at Skegness Town Reserves tomorrow (Saturday).

Mareham prop up the table and their already worrying goal difference took another battering last Saturday when they lost 19-0 at leaders Swineshead Institute.

That result left Mareham still looking for their first top flight point of the campaign after six games.

Ominously, they have conceded 66 goals - and found the back of the net just three times themselves.

In another Premier Division game tomorrow, Woodhall Spa United entertain Swineshead at Abbey Lane looking to boost their mid-table position.

Woodhall have at least three game sin hand on most of the other clubs in the table.

Coningsby’s first team are in cup action tomorrow at Billinghay while the reserves entertain Sibsey in a Division Two game.

AFC Tetford are also in action in Division Two and make the trip to Kirton Town Reserves while their reserves are scheduled to host FC Hammers in a Division Three fixture.
