Horncastle Town Reserves will set their sights on a win tonight (Friday) when they entertain Lincoln League rivals RM Imp in the quarter finals of the David Cooper Cup at The Wong (7.30pm) - weather permitting.
It promises to be a tough test for Town as RM Imp are currently riding high at the top of the league with a 100 per cent return from 13 games.
That impressive record includes a 4-3 win against Town at The Wong earlier this month in what proved to be a seven goal thriller.
Boss Andrew Fenn was delighted with the performance of his side in a 5-1 victory against Ruston Sports last Saturday.
He is unlikely to make too many changes with leading scorers Luke Blondel and Ryan Beaumont set to spearhead their challenge.
Fenn most also decide whether to retain Jamie Lewis at left back, along with wingers Ben Fidling and Josh Cheetham.
