FOOTBALL: Premier Division woe continues for local sides

Local sides Mareham United and Woodhall Spa United were out of luck again in the Premier Division of the Boston and District League on Saturday.

Rock-bottom Mareham are still searching for a first point of the campaign after losing 8-0 at home to a slick Wyberton Reserves outfit.

Woodhall Spa, who are just one place above Mareham, were pipped 4-3 at home by Kirton Town in a seven-goal thriller.

AFC Tetford’s Reserves, were celebrating after reaching the final of the Main Ridge Takeaway Cup following a 5-1 demolition of Kirton Town Reserves.
