OGFC finally took over top spot in the Horncastle Leisure Leagues Six-a-side League with their 5-0 points win.

They played Beercelona in a friendly and had enough in the end to topple the red and yellows 4-1.

In other games, RAFCats beat Team Lean 2-0 to keep pace at the top. A rejuvenated Tekkerslovakia attacked AC a Little Silhouetto of Milan from the off and edged them 2-1 in their fixture to return to winning ways and inflict AC’s second defeat in 18 games.

Bantalona had a lack of cutting threat this week and failed to match the energy and tenacity of Ivory Toast who ran out comfortable 3-0 winners to give them their first win and points of the season.

Beercelona played Ginger Gaffer in the final game of a rain-soaked evening and it was a thoroughly competitive game which at 1-1 could have gone either way. It was Luke Baker for the Gaffers who grabbed a late winner to claim the match 2-1 and put them fourth, two points behind the leaders.
