Mareham United picked up just their third win in 14 matches as they took all three points against bottom of the league Freiston at the weekend.

The Fieldsiders kept up their recent scoring form and managed to put three goals past Freiston as they closed out a 3-1 win to move up to ninth in the Boston Taylors Service Garages Premier Division.

They will hope to pick up their sixth win of the season against 12th placed side Old Doningtonians this Saturday.

It was double delight for Coningsby as both the first team and the reserve side picked up wins this weekend.

Coningsby secured a much-needed three points in a 2-1 win at Sutterton but local rivals Woodhall Spa United were beaten 2-1 at Abbey Lane.

The two sides are back in Division One action this Saturday with Coningsby welcoming Fosdyke to the Allan Barker Field and Spa travel to Benington for their Sharman Burgess Sports Cup fixture.

Mareham United Reserves were knocked out of the Barclays Brokers Willoughby Shield by Fishtoft Reserves.

After their 2-1 defeat they welcome Holbeach Bank to Fieldside this weekend for their Division Two tie.
