FOOTBALL: Mareham’s top flight misery continues

Problems continue to pile up for Mareham United at the foot of the Boston and District League’s Premier Division table.

A 10-0 defeat at fifth placed Old Leake on Saturday left Mareham marooned at the bottom of the table.

They have now conceded 107 goals in 12 league games this season - and scored just eight themselves.

AFC Tetford also suffered a heavy 7-0 defeat at top of the table Leverton on a Division Two game.

It was left to Tetford’s Reserves to fly the flag as they beat Friskney Reserves 3-1 in Division Three.
