Mareham United Reserves moved off the foot of the Boston and District League Division Two table with a stunning 3-2 win over table-toppers Friskney.

They take on Nelson, who are just one place above them in the table, this weekend.

Division Three’s AFC Tetford came out on the wrong side of a nine-goal thriller as they lost 5-4 away at Benington Reserves.

The Tetford side will take on Rippingale & Folkingham Reserves this weekend.

Mareham United moved up to ninth in the Premier Division after a 3-2 away win at Old Leake.

The victory was the perfect boost for Mareham ahead of this weekend’s tough trip to top of the league Wyberton.

In Division One Woodhall Spa United will return to action this weekend with a trip to Skegness United Reserves.
