Three local sides will be in action tomorrow (Saturday) in the first round of the Boston and District League’s BB Insure Willoughby Cup.
Top flight duo Mareham United and Woodhall Spa United will be hoping a cup outing brings a change of luck.
The two sides are struggling at the foot of the Premier Division table with Woodhall having won just twice this season and Mareham still looking for their first point of the campaign.
Tomorrow, Woodhall face a daunting tie at third placed club Fishtoft while Mareham are at home to Division One outfit Freiston.
Coningsby will be strong favourites to win their clash at Old Doningtonians.
It is a repeat of a League One game between the two sides last Saturday which Coningsby won 2-0.
In the pick of tomorrow’s league action, Coningsaby Reserves entertain AFC Tetford in what promises to be an action packed contest.
Tetford go into the game three points and four places above their hosts in the table.
In Division Three, Tetford’s Reserves host top-of-the-table Railway Athletic aiming to build on last week’s win against Kirton Town in the semi finals of the Reserves Cup.
