Horncastle Town will complete their pe-season build up when they entertain Boston League Benington at The Wong tonight (Tuesday), kick off 7.30pm.

Manager Paul Johnson has been impressed with his side’s form in recent games and will take a last look at his squad ahead of Saturday’s Sills and Betteridge League opener at Nettleham.

Although Johnson will have a good idea of his starting line-up, a number of players will be hoping to push their way into contention.

Town go into tonight’s clash on the back of a battling performance against highly rated Spalding United last Saturday.

Although Town lost 1-0, they caused plenty of problems for their Evo-Stik League opponents.

*Town’s reserves are in action on Thursday evening in a re-arranged friendly at Skegness Town Reserves.

The game was postponed last week because of a waterlogged pitch.
