Horncastle Town will be aiming to continue their winning form tomorrow (Saturday) when they visit CGB Humbertherm in the quarter finals of the Lincolnshire League’s Supplementary Cup (2,30pm).

Town were due to visit Humbertherm last Saturday in the league but the game was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

There were concerns tomorrow’s cup game would suffer the same fate but according to Town’s website, the game is still on.

Boss Paul Johnson should have a full strength squad to chose from as Town chase what would be a tenth consecutive win.

Skipper Chris Johnson and defender Scott Lowman would both have missed last Saturday’s league clash.

However, they are back in the squad along with winger Tom Sargeant who is one of several player pushing for a starting place.

It promises to be a vital month for Town who are hot on the trail of the title.

They trail leaders and defending champions Skegness Town by just a point but have a game in hand.

Town’s form means they must be considered as one of the favourites for the Supplementary Cup but Johnson is warning his side face a tricky tie at Humbertherm.

Town’s Reserves are also in action tomorrow when they visit rivals RM Imp in the quarter finals of the Lincoln and District League’s Amateur Cup (1.30pm).

It’s the toughest possible draw for boss Andrew Fenn’s side as RM Imp currently head the league table with just one defeat from 16 games this term.

Town, though, have come close to beating their opponents and will travel with plenty of confidence after a 4-0 drubbing of Monson FC last time out.

*Town’s Development side will be at home to the University of Lincoln Law Society in Division Five of the Lincoln and District League on Sunday.
