Manager Mark Simmons will be hoping for a change of fortune when Horncastle Town’s Development Squad visit Saxilby Sports tomorrow in Division Five of the Lincoln Sunday League.

Town’s young side has suffered three heartbreaking defeats in recent weeks - the last in a bruising battle against rivals Claytons Athletic last Sunday at The Wong.

A late goal gave the visitors all three points but Simmons is confident his squad can bounce back against Saxilby.

Town have produced some outstanding football in those defeats and need to focus on turning pressure into goals.

In other league games tomorrow, Woodhall Spa United will be aiming to climb the First Division table when they host Plough Sturton.

Much could depend on striker Jac Wright who took his goal tally to 14 from five games in last Sunday’s 6-4 win against FVA Jerusalem.

James Melia (2) was also on target last week and the pair will be hoping to continue that red-hot form.

Title chasing AFC Harpars are in Division Two action at struggling Ferryboat while Bardney will be hoping to continue their recent impressive form at Division Four rivals Railway Inn.
