Horncastle based AFC Harpars will be looking to sign off their Sills and Betteridge Sunday League campaign on a winning note this weekend.

They entertain Lincoln Claytons at Horncastle Playing Fields looking for three points to boost their hold on top-of-the-table spot.

Harpars have led the title race for most of the campaign but rivals Trent Valley are just four points behind with two games in hand.

While Harpars take on mid-table Claytons, Trent Valley travel to FC Vodaphone.

In Division Two, Woodhall Spa look assured of second place after completing their fixtures with a resounding 3-0 win at Green Barrel Athletic.

James Melia and Liam Green were among the players on target as Town took their points tally for the campaign to 41.

That’s the same total as leaders Rustons United although they still have a couple of games to play and visit struggling St Helens on Sunday.

Wragby, who are still chasing an outside chance of promotion in Division One, don’t have a game and will be keeping a close watch on the results of their rivals.
