Horncastle Town received the Fair Play Award at the annual meeting of the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League.

The award was presented by the league’s Charter Standard co-ordinator Ian Hughes to manager Mickey Stones (pictured right) at the meeting in Lincoln.

Horncastle are one of 18 teams who will be competing for honours in the league this season following successful applications from Nettleham, Immingham Town, Louth Town, Grimsby Borough Reserves, Sleaford Sports and Harrowby United Reserves.

The new season will kick off on Saturday, August 13.
