Having won the toss, visitors Woodhall Spa elected to field.

Billingborough strongly with Chris King notching up 102 runs before retiring unbeaten.

Fellow opener M. Stanley reached 19 before he was bowled out lbw by Henry Wilson, and J. Zealand accrued an identical score and was then bowled by Tom Caswell.

Captain Aaron Pullum shored up the Billingborough innings with a solid 43 before he fell to Peter Epton’s bowling. Epton then caught and bowled Ben Stanley as the 40 over innings closed with Jonathan Parrish (5) and Scott Tite (10) unbeaten.

Woodhall’s Adam Barker (7) was bowled by Parrish and fellow opener Wilson managed to reach 25 before he was caught by Zealand from a Tite ball.

Tom Caswell was bowled out for seven by Sean Taylor, whilst Oliver Caswell was caught and bowled by Shaun Brown.

Captain Epton tried to steady the ship with a solid unbeaten 63 but, with the only useful contribution being Simon Caswell’s 12, before he was bowled by Taylor, Spa ran out of overs.
