Woodhall Spa will be aiming to bounce back to winnings ways when they continue their ECB Lincolnshire Premier League campaign at newly promoted Grantham tomorrow (Saturday).

Spa saw their hopes of back-to-back victories dashed by the weather last Saturday when their game against Market Rasen was abandoned at Jubilee Park.

Skipper Jack Luffman had led the way in an impressive batting display by Spa but rain intervened before Rasen’s reply had reached double figures.

The trip to Grantham promises to present a stiff test for Spa’s relatively new-look side.

The hosts have strengthened considerably in the close season and their signings include Lincolnshire star Karanjit Bansal who top scored at Grimsby last week.
