The Louth Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team is continuing to receive calls that young people are gaining entry to a derelict building in Manby, which could be unsafe.

As reported previously, similar concerns were raised by the police last August.

Yesterday (April 7), PCSO Justin Mekkaoui said: “We are continuing to receive calls reporting that youths are gaining entry to a derelict building, Beech Grove Hall in Manby.

“Two youths have recently been caught by police and dealt with under Anti-Social Behaviour legislation.

“We are also in consultation with ELDC and the owners, making attempts to try and obtain better security at the site.”

• Report any similar incidents to Lincolnshire Police on 101.
