Speed - Why the reduction?
Your front page (Feb 21) surely makes a strong argument for increasing the speed limit on Jubilee Way.
The fact almost half the number of drivers recorded in just eight days were exceeding the limit is shocking, but it is not a surprise to anyone who uses that stretch of road on a regular basis.
Like the town councillors point out, the A158 leading into Horncastle is much more dangerous (and I’ve witnessed several accidents) yet the limit is 40.
Why the speed limit is reduced to 30 on Jubilee Way is beyond me.
