Post office - Sorry for any inconvenience

I am writing in response to the letters about the refurbishment work at Horncastle Post Office.

I can confirm this has now been completed, meaning people now have a post office that is much more customer-friendly and modern.

The refurbishment took two weeks, which was necessary given the extent of the work.

We tried to reduce the impact of the closure by giving five weeks’ notice and putting on a free bus service three times a day to Billinghay Post Office.

I am sorry for any inconvenience customers experienced during the refurbishment, and hope they enjoy accessing services at the new-look post office.
