Cuts - Worrying times of austerity

Is anyone surprised by the news that even Tory council leader Martin Hill thinks local services are at risk of collapse under his administration? Lincolnshire has voted overwhelmingly for cuts and austerity three times since 2010; our own MP Victoria Atkins voted three times to support a 70% reduction in local government funding, between 2016 and 2018, and will vote for deeper cuts next year.

After all this, are people really shocked that there is no money left, council tax is up, and services are deteriorating? Can we afford to let this continue by returning Conservative candidates at future local and general elections?

When even the Tories are warning of the disastrous future effects of their own policies, things are getting very serious.
