Claudia Frances Scarfe and Gary John Bush were married at St Helen’s Church in Edlington on Saturday September 13 by Canon John Thorold.
Claudia, the only daughter of Stuart and Sally Scarfe of Edlington, wore a full length ivory satin gown embossed with embroidery and crystal beading, featuring a lace long sleeved bodice and full train. She was attended by bridesmaids Alex Grant and Kayleigh Stanley, the groom’s niece Daisy Dean and Jacob Wright.
Gary, only son of Susan Bush and the late Kevin Bush on Wood Enderby, chose friends Luke Call and Matthew Chandler as his Best Men with the bride’s brother, Fraser Scarfe, acting as an usher.
The reception was held at The Old Palace, Minster Yard in Lincoln and the couple honeymooned at Raithwaite Hall in Whitby.
Both grew up in the Horncastle area with Claudia attending Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School and Gary Banovallum.
Claudia is well known in the town for entertaining at concerts and charity events with her wonderful singing voice.
Gary is an infantry soldier in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment and the couple will reside at Kendrew Barracks in Cottesmore.
