Crowds gathered for this year’s sleigh race from Sixhills to The Heneage Arms at Hainton.
Nine teams took part and it was a close run thing with the event being won by Louth Athletic Club in a time of 13 minutes and 14 seconds, just one second in front of Market Rasen Rugby Club.
Third place went to The Hainton Has Beens.
Seasonal refreshments were served in the pub, where there was also a raffle and music.
And the event raised £451.35 for The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
Thanks go to Simon Hickson of The Heneage arms, Tony Stubbs and Tesco for the supply of raffle prizes, Simon Harrison of Louth AC for the timing equipment, Max Bradley Sue Heron and friends for the live music, and to all the other volunteers.
