The Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum will be open to welcome visitors this weekend for a magical seasonal event.
The Museum, for many years home to the Wield family, will be open on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
It has been specially decorated for a Victorian Christmas, with a Victorian style Christmas tree, garlands of seasonal greenery, and a rich variety of traditional decorations.
Displays of ‘Christmas Past’ include toys and games, festive food, tableware, cards, presents and more.
Visitors will be greeted by costumed characters and can explore the displays to discover intriguing facts about the origins of Christmas and the influence the Victorians had on the seasonal celebrations and customs we enjoy today.
Refreshments and seasonal gifts will also be on sale, and on Saturday afternoon, around 2.30pm, visitors can join in with carol singing too.
