A Horncastle based garden centre will be welcoming celebrities from the culinary and literary worlds at a charity event on August 22 and 23.
Lincolnshire chef and star of BBC 3’s ‘Kill it! Cook it! Eat it!’ Rachel Green will be at Crowders summer fete, alongside celebrated Lincolnshire author Margaret Dickinson.
There will be the opportunity to watch the celebrity chef give cooking demonstrations at the family event while Mrs Dickinson will be signing copies of her novels.
Local radio station Lincs FM will also have a presence at the fete, featuring well known presenter John Marshall.
More than 30 stalls, food tasting and drinks will keep parents occupied while youngsters can enjoy the various activities that will be on offer.
The fete promises a mixture of fun-filled learning and play, with activities organised by the Wildlife Trust and Lincolnshire Bat Group, as well as a bouncy castle, a treasure hunt and much more.
There is even the chance to meet police interceptors and have a go on a simulator.
The fete will raise funds for When You Wish Upon a Star, a charity which grants the wishes of sick children across the UK.
